Well, it took me 8 years to finally paint a “big cat” companion for my tiger piece (done in 2016). This lion is a 24×36 on canvas. Probably more acrylic than water color — but a mixed media piece for sure.

I tried to make him “life-like” and have same depth and detail like my older tiger piece (which is probably still my favorite painting over the years). I think I came close — but not quite. But – I still am happy with the way it turned out. Some family & friends have shared how much they like it.

I drove to Amarillo and had it scanned so I can offer giclee prints — generate some sells 😉 Thanks ABC Blueprinters – y’all ROCK!
